A tropical fruit that comes from cactus in Latin America and Asia. It’s filled with antioxidants, fiber, Vitamin A, and calcium. Refreshingly delicious!
How to peel it?
Cut in half and separate the flesh with a spoon. You can score the flesh first if you’d like it to come out in pieces. Alternatively, just cut it into slices.
How to eat it?
It can be eaten raw or grilled.

DragonFruit cooler
A refreshing and flavorful summer drink!
Ingredients:
- Red dragonfruit
- Unsweetened green tea
- Mango juice
- Mint
Instructions:
- Cut the dragonfruit into small cubes.
- Add to a blender or food processor and purée.
- Add the green tea and juice to taste and quickly pulse to incorporate.
- Serve in a cold glass over ice.
- Dress it up with small fruit bites and mint on a skewer.
Dragonfruit Chia Pudding
Chia pudding is a healthy and easy breakfast. With this recipe, you are adding the sweet taste of exotic fruit!
Ingredients:
- Dragonfruit
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel and chop the fruit into small pieces, add to a blender.
- Add coconut milk, (optional) sugar to taste, and chia seeds.
- Blend and transfer to serving glasses.
- Refrigerate for 1-3 hours.
